High Levels of Administration's Support

A very important factor to the success of this project is the strong support that it has to receive from the top executives, since it requires to modify some of the old ways of doing business and also, some times, will require the allocation of extra resources.

To succeed, we have to get strong support from the president or owner on down.

All executives, supervisors, foremen and employees at the maintenance and all other departments are also expected to be willing to support this effort. Many of them should have participated in TPM training courses before we can expect them to become advocates of this philosophy.
